As professor of religion and chairman of the department at Baylor University for many years, Ray Summers influenced the lives of moe than one generation of students, many of whom are now teachers, ministers, and missionaries. The many lifelong concerns of Ray Summers--it is here evident--also have become the concerns of his students.
