Charles E. Campbell

Charles E. Campbell attended Emory University and the University of Georgia. In 1965, at age twenty-three, he accepted a position on the staff of United States senator Richard B. Russell in Washington DC where he worked until Russell’s death on January 21, 1971. After receiving his law degree in June 1971 from Georgetown Law Center, Campbell returned to Atlanta and was a trial lawyer with four different firms until his retirement in 2009.
