Lisa D. Powell

Lisa D. Powell is assistant professor of Theology and Women’s Studies at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. She is the first-place winner of the 2011 Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza New Scholar Award for her research on Sor Juana. Powell received her PhD in Systematic Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary.
