David E. Alsobrook
David E. Alsobrook, a self-styled "recovering archivist," holds degrees from Auburn University and West Virginia University. His memoir evolved from his experience at the Alabama Department of Archives and History and the Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, and William J. Clinton Presidential Libraries. Alsobrook is the award-winning author of SOUTHSIDE: EUFAULA'S COTTON MILL VILLAGE AND ITS PEOPLE, 1890-1945. He resides in Mobile, Alabama.
