Sam Pickering
Sam Pickering grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He spent sixty-seven years in classrooms, beginning with learning to play the tambourine in kindergarten and ending by teaching English at the University of Connecticut. He has long been a wanderer living in the Mid-East, Britain, Australia, and Canada. Pickering is also a rummager, exploring libraries and woods alike, writing thirty books and untold articles. He is a member of the Fellowship of Southern Writers.
